Me to We!
The Me to We celebration had an extremely positive effect on the students who attended. As a result, Southridge has decided to raise money to provide medicine to needy countries. Our We Team is running our next school-wide assembly in which they will be teaching the rest of the students and staff this year's We Dance. Stay tuned for more awesome Southridge intitiatives!! |
Southridge is going Green!
Recently, Southridge Public School and the community have been going to tremendous lengths to 'green' our property. Now the focus has shifted to the inside of the school.
Starting November 14, Southridge staff and students began collecting used paper towels in green bins instead of throwing these into the regular garbage. Our green bin contents are then collected at the curb by the Waterloo Region. We are currently recycling more than 4 green curbside bins of paper towels per week!! Thank you to all who have been involved in running this initiative at Southridge! |
January Character Trait
